Kristin A. Slack is an associate in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group and Litigation Group. Her practice includes representation of debtors, trustees, committees and creditors in connection with commercial insolvency and reorganizations. In addition, she represents parties in various areas of commercial litigation and construction law.

Kristin handles all aspects of electronic discovery in the firm's bankruptcy and litigation matters, and has become the firm’s authority in this continually evolving area of law. As an e-discovery attorney, Kristin has represented corporate clients and assisted in-house counsel to comply with ethical and legal obligations under state and federal e-discovery law. She regularly provides in-house training to the firm’s attorneys, as well as litigation assistance to clients on a full range of e-discovery issues. The introduction of electronic methods of discovery has resulted in significant reduction in litigation costs to clients, measured both in time and resources.

In law school, Kristin worked for the Roger Williams University School of Law Criminal Defense Clinic representing clients charged with a variety of misdemeanors, and received experience disposing of cases at every level, from plea to trial. In addition to the work she did with the Defense Clinic, Kristin volunteered for the Innocence Project, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing.
