Mr. Jager directs the Business and Personal Planning Group. For more than 25 years, he has concentrated his practice in the representation of closely-held companies, their owners and their families in all aspects of business and corporate planning, tax law, mergers and acquisitions, personal estate and family succession planning. Mr. Jager was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and attended Northeastern University. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1968 and received his law degree from Boston College Law School in 1971. Prior to founding the firm, he served as an associate in the Tax Department of Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young). Mr. Jager is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the United States District Court for District of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the United States Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
