Mr. Burwick joined Jager Smith P.C. in 1993 and practices in the firm's Business and Personal Planning Group. He is an income tax and estate tax specialist and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Burwick's practice consists of servicing small corporate clients on their business and tax matters. In addition, he maintains a sophisticated estate planning practice and advises accountants on income tax and estate tax matters. Mr.Burwick has a J.D. and an LL.M. from Boston University School of Law and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner with the firms of Curhan, Kunian, Goshko, Burwick & Savrann, P.C. and with Tighe, Curhan & Burwick. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Burwick is a member of the Boston Bar Association and serves on its Estate Planning committee. He has also served as a panelist on numerous tax forums, most recently recording a video presentation with Robert Glovsky on Family Limited Partnerships. In addition, for the past 25 years, Mr. Burwick has lectured at the Boston University Graduate Tax Program on State and Local Taxation.
