Mr. Reingold, a partner in the firm's Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights and Litigation Groups, joined the firm as an associate in 1999. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990 from Rutgers University, where he was elected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Mr. Reingold earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1993 from Boston University School of Law, where he served as a Note Editor for the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal and published a Student Note entitled Cause and Prejudice: The Rehnquist Court, Habeas Corpus and Judicial Activism, 3 B.U. Pub. Int. L.J. 141 (1993).
Mr. Reingold's practice centers on the representation of corporate debtors, creditors' committees, trustees, creditors and other interested parties in cases and adversary proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court. In addition, Mr. Reingold counsels clients on issues relating to the "workout" and restructuring of problem debt and to alternatives to bankruptcy. He also participates in all aspects of complex commercial litigation matters involving such diverse areas as, amongst others, construction law, environmental law, employment discrimination and commercial lending. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Reingold practiced in New York and New Jersey, where he specialized in litigation matters involving franchise law, construction law and commercial lending.
Mr. Reingold is a member of the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, and the State of New Hampshire and the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
Mr. Reingold has served as an Adjunct Professor at New England School of Law, where he taught a course in Legal Research and Writing, and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the New Hampshire Bar Association.
In 2005, Mr. Reingold was named as a Rising Star in the bankruptcy and workout community in the Massachusetts Super Lawyers -- Rising Stars Edition, an annual list compiled by Law & Politics which is mailed to every lawyer in Massachusetts and which appears as a special supplement in Boston Magazine. In 2006, Mr. Reingold was named as a Super Lawyer in the Massachusetts bankruptcy and workout community.
